Should i be concerned that my bf and father of my baby talks and sends pics to his ex and says he doesnt?

i asked why they had been sending pics back and forth to eachother, and he flipped out and let and went to the bar all night long.when hes out of town he barely talks to me. i guess i think i know the answer just need to hear something uplifting!
