Where do girls in Southern California buy their clothes?

It depends on your spending limit. If you have a $300 (or more) a month budget for clothes, any shopping mall will do. But if $$ is an issue, then the swap meets and the clothing district in Downtown LA is where the smart shopper go. The clothing district are where the retail stores get their inventory at wholesale cost. The swap meets charge less than retail stores b/c they have lower overhead. In case you're not aware, when you sign a lease to open a retail store in a shopping mall, on top of the monthly lease, you have to hand over a percentage of your monthly sales revenue. This is why shopping malls charge more than stand-alone retail stores.
