Are there groups,business that will help or any type of organization?

this couple I know are struggling very much their house got completely demolished by a tornado in 2008, and they had insurance but the contractor scammed them and took the money. now they are living in a trailer about 2 miles from where the structure of their house is. the house has a frame and some plumbing but the guy left and they have 4 children and need help badly. if you know of any suggestions... like people who could donate, or fundraising tips or ideas would greatly be apprecitated thank you so much!
