Leaving for the military...cute ideas of things I can do for my boyfriend to ease the pain of me leaving?

I'm leaving for the Army in 10 days. I have made a few photo dvds and cds for my boyfriend for when I'm gone but does anyone have any other cute ideas of things I can do to make it hurt less that I'll be gone? I have been the military girlfriend before and I know it's really hard so I was hoping to ease the pain of being the military boyfriend in any way possible. I'll be gone for 6 and a half months total and I know its weighing really hard on him. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone know anything about airfare discounts for military members or if there are any discounts I would be eligable for to fly him to my AIT location for a weekend? Thanks!
