How do I get to the cruise ships in Los Angeles?

Take the Harbor Freeway (110) south until it ends. Follow the signs to the cruise terminal. If you're coming all the way from the Beverly Hills, Hollywood, or Burbank area, you're probably better off getting a shuttle. A taxi would be pretty expensive. Most places between Hollywood and San Pedro (like South Gate, Lynwood, and Huntington Park) aren't the best parts of town. You're probably better off staying somewhere around Hollywood, or near the beaches (Manhattan, Redondo, Hermosa, or even the more inland Torrance area or Long Beach - just avoid downtown). If you're just going on the cruise, just stay as close to the cruise terminal as you can get. You'll only be staying there overnight until you get on your ship.
