First off, whoever told you that only minorities receive scholarships lied. There are all sorts of scholarships, most have nothing to do with your ethnicity. If you don't want to fill out scholarship applications, then you must not want to go to college that bad. I received a $32,000 scholarship based on academics, nothing else, from a private fund. Then I also received scholarships from the university once I got accepted. Second, what financial aid calculator did you use? There is no way of knowing what you will receive until you fill out the fafsa and get accepted into college. Then the college will determine your financial aid - grants, loans, work study.
