How much and how much experience for an ombre hairstyle!?

Ok so my hair is dark/medium brown and I want ombre hair which is my roots dark and dark blondish colour gradient to the bottom. If anyone knows, do all hairdressers have the experience to do this? And how much does it generally cost from an average hair salon? Thanks :) xx
