Freezer not working - not cold?

I have a beko frost free fridge freezer. A few weeks ago i went to take ice cream out and it was soft, so i turned up the temp gauge in fridge to 5 and heard it kick it,then turned it back to 2.5. its done that a couple of times since that night. last night i opened my freezer and everythin was defrosting,tried turning up the temp to 5 but its not working. the freezer isnt cold. the fridge lights on but the fridge isnt feelin cold now either, any ideas whats wrong ??????????
