How should I respond to my woman getting a bad haircut?

My woman is very indecisive but likes to look good for me so to help her out I go through hair magazines with her and pick the styles I like, it's usually a good experience because it gives us time to bond on a sunday afternoon once a month aswell as making us feel like we have a strong marriage where we both put in effort for each other. I usually pick similar styles as she has long permed blonde hair and I don't want the style to change much, it's more just became something to do, so I was shocked when she came come sporting a sleek and chemically straightened apparently bob. I understand that it's her hair, and her head but how can I let her know that I'm hurt she went so against the act of us deciding together what haircut to get? I feel the communication has broke down on this one, i've already had my son's tell her it doesn't best suit her, but I'm yet to have words, how should I address it?
